Issue: The issue is that sprinter gives the error "Failed to connect to HP ALM Unspecified Error" when https://community.hpe.com/t5/Quality-Center-ALM-Practitioners/Sprinter-ALM-connectivity-issue/td-p/6499966 trying to connect to ALM. Rood Posts: 2 Permalink Sprinter - A bad experience Hello to All,I am a functional tester that has been using HPQC for the last 5 years. We have over those 5 years migrated from 9.2 to 10 and are currently working on the migration from 10 to 11. One of the things that we have been tasked with is to identify thedifferences/benifits of the move to 11. We have just recently set up our sandbox for HPQC 11. As a functional tester I was quite eager to start using the new functional testing tool, Sprinter. I currently test a java script web based application the supported browsers for it are IE 7 and the latest version of Firefox. Here has been myexperienceso far with Sprinter.On a windows XP workstation I Down loaded Sprinter via the Add-in page. After installation I attempted to launch the application I was able to get the point where the system was attempting toauthenticatemy user name and password with the HPQC11server and would get the following error:Failed to connect to HP ALMUnspecifiederrorAfter not being able to really find and information on the error, Idecidedto go ahead and install the latest Sprinter patch. This corrected my error. I was able toactuallyable to get the tool to launch, but it did throw an error right before the connection to the QC server was completed:Sprinter failed initializing plugin 'PC Extension Plugin'You could click OK to the message and it would disappear. I was never able to get rid of this message when connecting to HPQC 11 via Sprinter, howe
