Bojangles {4eb} Guest I am in the works of trying to get a CS:S server online but keep running into this error as HLDS Update Tool gets past the cstrike and hl2 folder with things: failed to create directory d:\hl2server\reslists\counter-strike: source Win32 Error 267 "The directory is invalid." I have no idea why it keeps trying to

create a folder with a : in it... of course it is invalid!! its definately something to do with the colon in the folder name! win32 doesn't support colons in file/folder names anyone know what i should do? thanks. #1 Bojangles {4eb}, Nov 3, 2004 (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Maybe try deleting the blob and pick up a different Content Server. That's just off the top of my head and probably not likely to fix the issue. Or just keep retrying, but in between, don't delete the directory entirely. Just press the up arrow or F3 to run the exact same command line. http://forum.i3d.net/threads/hlds-hldsuptatetool-hates-me.44078/ Sometimes I run into issues where it fails in the middle of the download and I just have to 'restart' it to continue the download. -Richard Eid On Tue, Jan 6, 2009 at 9:36 PM, Dustin Wyatt

I have mounted it with Code: Select allnet use m: \\mystorageserver\\veeambackup /persistent:yesI use mydomain\myadminaccount for logging into RDP and running Veeam console. Veeam service also runs on this account. When I am running jobs from within console - they run without a problem, but when they start automatically - they fail with a information that Veeam cannot access that drive. When I log off and log in into server console I see that M: is disconnected. When I double click it, it opens without problem.Do you have any suggestions why this problem occur? pizang Enthusiast Posts: 61 Liked: never Joined: Sun Aug 02, 2009 7:33 pm Private message Top Re: Problem with backup on mounted share by Vitaliy S. » Mon Aug 24, 2009 2:37 pm people like this post Hello Miroslaw,Your backup job fails due to this disk (mapped drive) is being disconnected. Could you please use the UNC (full network path) as your destination target for the backup job and re-run it? In this case you should create a new job, cause, unfortunately, you cannot change the destination storage at advanced job settings, right now. Thanks Vitaliy S. "Persistent" only means that the drive would automatically reconnected upon user logon. But.. Then I got an idea.. I have created a bat file and scheduled it.Code: Select allnet use m: /delete
net use m: \\192.168.132.53\veeambackup /persistent:no
"C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and FastSCP\VeeamManager.exe" backup afe4d211-ad97-4f51-9452-21ca2858c50f
..and it works.BTW. It would be nice to have an ability to change destination path in a job. Why? If your drive is out of space for example. pizang Enthusiast
