Base Firmex VDR Support Viewing Documents Firmex Knowledge pdf settings in chrome Base I see the message “Failed to load PDF document” Symptom When you chrome pdf viewer try to open a PDF document from the data room in Google Chrome, a new tab opens with the message “Failed to Load https://developer.salesforce.com/forums/?id=906F0000000BXU6IAO PDF Document“. Cause Google Chrome’s built-in PDF Viewer cannot open Firmex’s protected PDF document. If you are still seeing this issue, do the following In Google Chrome, you have 2 options to view PDF files. You can either use Chrome pdf viewer (default) or you can use Adobe Reader Can you check chrome://plugins (type it in address bar) ? and switch to other PDF viewer (Chrome/Adobe) by just enabling it ! share|improve this answer

Maybe the actual bug is that whatever is cached for this url is not marked as a err, so that when visiting the url again, the browser would try to load it again.
