After many tries of reinstalling Steam completely with several tools https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/864975632472631620/ and giving Steam already new rights with Windows Firewall, the same problem occurs every time. Even my browsers IE9 and Google Chrome don't seem to be able to load the Steam Community page. Though I hear from other people that they can access the Steam Community. This problem is now already going on for 4 or 5 days. How can I fix this? My system: Win7 Ultimate 64x Intel Core i5-750 ATI HD5850 Anyone http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1570179 with help? Because my friends and Google can't seem to find a solution for this. Edit: The Store and the News section work normally. It's just the Community and the Support section that gives me that error. So I can't open a ticket. Last edited by Joymenomore: 11-08-2010 at 02:49 PM. Steam uses Internet Explorer's proxy settings and may have connectivity issues if they are misconfigured. Make sure that proxy usage is not turned on at this location (nothing should be checked): Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings. Note: You may need to restart your computer for these changes to take full effect. Maledict21 View P
