Failed To Localize Wscompile.error Failed To Localize
service and client wizards for JAX-WS scenarios RN7.5; SRX; V16LongStringValue Technote (troubleshooting) Problem(Abstract) If you create a web service or client that has input that causes errors in the underlying JAX-WS tools (wsgen, wsimport, and xjc), then an error message containing the string "failed to localize" might occur. However, it might be difficult to determine the underlying problem from the remainder of the error message details; the error message does not clearly state the cause of the problem. Symptom An error message from the web service or client wizard containing "failed to localize." Cause The wsgen, wsimport and xjc tools are not running correctly within the workbench. Diagnosing the problem In the following example, a user attempts to create a JAX-WS Web service from an existing Java bean, and the bean specifies an endpoint interface. In this case, the bean does not implement all methods of the endpoint interface, and therefore an error occurs. The following error message occurs (note the "failed to localize" strings): Errors occurred during wsgen. Errors occurred during wsgen. [failed to localize] wscompile.error([failed to localize] wscompile.compilationFailed()) Note: ap round: 1 Problem encountered during annotation processing; see stacktrace below for more information. com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.ModelerException: [failed to localize] modeler.nestedModelError(com.sun.xml.internal.ws.util.localization.LocalizableMessage@2bff2bff) at com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.annotation.WebServiceAP.onError(WebServiceAP.java:233) at com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.annotation.WebServiceVisitor.classImplementsSEI(WebServiceVisitor.java:534) at com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.annotation.WebServiceVisitor.isLegalImplementation(WebServiceVisitor.java:507) at com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.annotation.WebServiceVisitor.shouldProcessWebService(WebServiceVisitor.java:318) at com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.annotation.WebServiceVisitor.visitClassDeclaration(WebServiceVisitor.java:121) at com.

Hello, I am trying to find out what may http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21389891 be causing the following issue in RAD 7.5.3. Scenario: Runtime: WAS 7.0.3 Dynamic Web Project contains an annotated @WebService POJO w/ 2 @WebMethods, getClient(String oid) and getClientById(String id). Upon the first creation, the .apt_generated folder contained the resulting 4 classes (one for each method (ie: GetClient() ) and the matching https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=273791 getClientResponse.java and getClientByIdResponse.java of each method). Added a 3rd @WebMethod, echoClientMessage(String name, String prefix). Did a Clean/Build of the Project. ... HOWEVER, contents of .apt_generated did not change. Still only contains the 4 classes where one would now expect it to contain 6. (2 more classes for the 3rd @WebMethod). Right-clicked on the implementation POJO (w/ the 3 annotated methods) - select WebServices->Create web service Step through the dialog w/ the slider set to "Develop service" and confirmed the Configuration: section was correct for Server:, Web service runtime:, Service project:, and Service EAR project. Click finish and bang ! All I see is this error. Errors occurred during wsgen. Errors occurred during wsgen. failed to localize wscompile.error(failed to localize wscompile.compilationFailed()) Note: ap round: 1 Problem encountered during annotation processing; see stacktrace below for more information. com.sun.tools.internal.ws.processor.modeler.ModelerException: failed to localize failed to localize webserviceap.class.not.found(com.adp.component.services.dvo.Client)() + at c

Then I get the following Error. Not sure if it's a facet error or an error in the version of JAXWS from WAS 8.0? Tried to resolve it but couldn't find resources on the web as well. ** Here's the CODE** //Interface: package com.pp; import javax.jws.WebMethod; import javax.jws.WebService; @WebService public interface Calculator { @WebMethod public int add(int var1, int var2); } //Implementation Class: package com.pp; import javax.jws.WebService; @WebService(endpointInterface=" com.pp.Calculator") public class CalculatorImpl implements Calculator { @Override public int add(int var1, int var2) { // TODO Auto-generated method stub return var1+var2; } } ERROR: Errors occurred during wsgen.
