Then Stopped OracleOraDb11g_home1TNSListener Service On Local Computer Started And Then Stopped alex February 11, 2011 Errors 2 Comments Tweet While doing some testing of Oracle on a Windows 7 computer I stopped the TNS https://www.question-defense.com/2011/02/11/oracleoradb11g_home1tnslistener-service-on-local-computer-started-and-then-stopped Listener service also known as OracleOraDb11g_home1TNSListener. The problem is when I attempted to http://dbaforums.org/oracle/index.php?showtopic=18108 restart the service it would not start. Below I describe failed to more details about the error as well as how I resolved the TNS Listener not being able to start.
