Granted, it's still beta, but it seems like it should obviate the need for these sorts of "answers." –miken32 Apr 22 at 22:17 I think it's still private beta. docs-beta.stackexchange.com –miken32 Apr 23 at 14:12 @miken32 No it would not. For starters there is no documentation site as is. Secondly this canonical targets questions about the topic on SO. –PeeHaa Apr 25 at 11:00 add a comment| 2 Answers 2 active oldest votes up vote 63 down vote accepted +500 There are many reasons why one might run into this error and thus a good checklist of what to check first helps considerably. Let's consider that we are troubleshooting the following line: require "/path/to/file" Checklist 1. Check the file path for typos either check manually (by visually checking the path) or move whatever is called by require* or include* to its own variable, echo it, copy it, and try accessing it from a terminal: $path = "/path/to/file"; echo "Path : $path"; require "$path"; Then, in a terminal: cat

It is in a subdomain, email.getclicks.com.my I'm getting this error: Warning: include(includes/functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/36577020/php-failed-to-open-stream-no-such-file-or-directory /home/getclick/public_html/email/includes/header.php on line 1 Warning: include(includes/functions.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/getclick/public_html/email/includes/header.php on line 1 Warning: include(): Failed opening 'includes/functions.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/getclick/public_html/email/includes/header.php on line 1 I tried a few things suggested on the forum. So far no luck with googling Sendy forum. What can I do? 6 Comments Vote Up0Vote Down Ben June 2015 Posts: 2,802Sendy support Hi, Is functions.php in the /includes/ folder? Best regards, Ben Vote Up0Vote Down tzshng June 2015 Posts: 5Sendy user You're right, indeed it is not. But the server seems like automatically delete it or hide it. I upload the file again, it disappear. after a few seconds. I create a new file, and then paste the code in the file, same thing happen. What should I tell my hosting company to do so the file will stay in that directory? Any specific setting I need them to enable or disable it for me? Vote Up0Vote Down Ben June 2015 Posts: 2,802Sendy support You'll need to contact your host on why your server keeps deleting the functions.php file you uploaded to /includes/ folder. "failed to open stream: No such file or directory" failed to error "failed to open stream: No such file or directory" error Tuesday 16 November 2010 9:45:32 am - 1 reply Hi all, after I created the SQL database, username, etc., I uploaded ezPublish to my webhost. Now when I type in the URL, it displays the following errors: Warning: require(lib/ezutils/classes/ezini.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/danyu394/public_html/ez/autoload.php on line 103 Warning: require(lib/ezutils/classes/ezini.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No failed to open such file or directory in /home/danyu394/public_html/ez/autoload.php on line 103 Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'lib/ezutils/classes/ezini.php' (include_path='./lib/ezc:./lib/ezutils/classes') in /home/danyu394/public_html/ez/autoload.php on line 103You can see for yourself at http://69.90.162.165/~danyu394/ez/I thought it might have something to do with a path missing, but I'm not sure where or what to put? Also searched on Google to see if someone had a solution, but couldn't find anything exactly like this problem. Modified on Tuesday 16 November 2010 9:48:17 am by Colin MacIntyre Related forum topics 1 reply Wednesday 17 November 2010 4:31:33 pm Welcome! This is a standard php error telling you which required file is not able to be found, the path where it is not found, and the paths searched.Check first to see if the file is indeed in the designated location. If the file is there, but not getting read, it is likely a permissions problem. This is basic web dev stuff, unrelated to eZ - unless for some reason the installer is not installing files even with permissions set correctly. Not likely with the number of successful installations out there. 0 like Like it! Permalink expandshrink You must be logged in to post messages in this topic! 36 542 Users on board!
