encountered three strange errors I did not expect. The first one puzzled me most: 1 2 3 4 looking for inter-conflicts... error: unresolvable package conflicts detected error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies) :: kactivities4 and kactivities-frameworks are in conflict Since I was attempting a full system update, I, of course, expected pacman to update the package to its latest version, not spew me a package conflict error. I scoured the forums and multiple odd-looking Google results to finally find the answer I was looking for (no, it was not "42"). Since KDE Plasma 5 packages were introduced into the repository, https://classicforum.manjaro.org/index.php?topic=6653.0 this error can occur when it's been a long time your system was not updated. To fix this, run the following commands: 1 2 # pacman -Rdd kactivities4 # pacman -S kactivities-frameworks --asdeps You might, however, encounter another error (just as I did): 1 2 3 4 5 :: Import PGP key 4096R/, "Antonio Rojas
