The last 2 times I have done this using my laptop both times I have ended up with unwatchable DVD's but all the other times I've done this is with a different laptop and a external DVD burner (the disk drive didnt work for that laptop) and had no problems what so ever. I always use the same batch of DVD-R disks and I have burned audio CD's successfully with the laptop. Is there a way to test the drive or even failed to read the divx/avi files i used for some sort of errors? Can it still be disk compatibility problem? Mine backedup fine with 6.8.00 and plays fine on my computer and my Panasonic BD player.
