know what's going on? Tuesday, February 08, 2011 12:07 AM Reply | Quote Answers 1 Sign in to vote Hello Jay, Are your Windows 7 and Xp computers in the same OU or different OUs? Is the same group policy linked to the Windows 7 and XP computers? Also, make sure that if you are defining a secure screen saver via this GPO "Screen Saver Executable Name" then ensure that the gpupdate /sync failed to set the policy mode *.scr file is under %systemroot%\system32 directory or define the path to the file in the GPO. If so, please try to disable it to check the result. If this is not the case, I also would like to suggest you refer to the following Microsoft KB article for further troubleshooting suggestions. YesIs the user a member of the container? Afraid you lost me on this one?Does the user have read access on the policy? YesIs the user actually logging onto the server, or are they using a cached login? To the best of my knowledge it's not a cached login.Nothing has changed on the DC only the format of the Client. This client is the only one having problems. It is also the only one that uses this GPO. Any chance its corupted? I doubt it though as the policy still applies.Cheers · actions · 2003-Oct-14 5:29 pm · acehydeTired.Premium Memberjoin:2001-08-14 acehyde to AuZZZie1 Premium Member 2003-Oct-14 5:55 pm to AuZZZie1May helpquote: You may receive the "The System Cannot Find the File Specified" error message if the computer account does not have permis
