However when I booted up my computer the degraided raid didn't mount itself. These are new disks and I don't think there are anything physically wrong with them. smartctl doesn't show anything suspicious, dmesg don't tell anything except what said above. The only clue that it's something with software is: $ mdadm -E /dev/sdb3 ...
