successfully with deepburner, now using imgburn for DL full size backups. Had problems right away, many searches failed to write sectors 0 - 31 - reason timeout on logical unit resulted in a few things: - updated my burner firmware successfully - sick and tired of seeing 'use better media' - oh, um. well, it worked actually. memorex no worky, failed to write sector easeus verbatim worky good. imagine that. - DMA settings - set correctly to dma if available (however i have two primary ide, no secondary, not sure if that means anything). First backup worked like a charm with the verbatim dl media - since then though, i keep getting failed to write sectors error at different points with different content backups. here's the log from last attempt: I 21:08:51 ImgBurn Version 2.3.2.0 started!
