If these are not there then perform the following commands [Linux Systems Only] touch /images/dev/.mntcheck touch /images/.mntcheck If still receiving the same error message after perfroming the above commands, you may need to edit /etc/exports to

I realized after getting my fog server running it had hardly any storage, So I added a second HDD got it all mounted and fog recognizing it. But when I try and upload an image I get the error in the attached picture. Google has failed me on this problem, so any idea's or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. In the folder on your server, check for the .mntcheck files. If these are https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/460055-fog-0-32-fatal-error-failed-to-mount-nfs-volume not there then perform the following commands [Linux Systems Only] touch /images/dev/.mntcheck touch /images/.mntcheck If still receiving the same error message after perfroming the above commands, you may need to edit /etc/exports to include your new mount point, i.e. /data/images and /data/images/dev with corresponding permissions. Fresh installation of Fedora 15, using a raid 1 for the system and a raid 5 for the image location. 2. Fresh installation of FOG 0.32 3. Followed instructions for moving the images directory http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Moving_your_images_directory/Adding_Storage_to_the_Images_directory";
4. On the Client (Dell Optiplex GX620 - Windows XP), it boots to the failed to mount FOG Computer Cloning menu, I was able to perform the Quick Host Registration and Inventory. 5. Via the web on my computer I logged into the FOG website and created a 'New Image', using the 'default' storage group and Single Partition options. I then associated the image with the host, and created a task up Upload Image. 6. Back at the client I boot up the computer and it runs through setting up for imaging the computer, but fails because "Failed to mount NFS Volume" (see attached image) I have checked the /images permissions on the server and have the fog account as the owner with full permissions. Can anyone please guide me the right direction to get this working. I am new to Fedora and to FOG, but would really like to get this working soon. I am starting to lean towards starting over on the server and install Ubuntu instead of Fedora. Reply Subscribe View Best Answer RELATED TOPICS: Need Help with FOG Client fog client, do i need it?
