Failed To Open Xml File System Error
I hope I'm in the right place. If not, please direct error 25541 failed to open xml file visual studio 2010 me to the correct spot. The installer error msg says that the error is in the .NET failed to open xml file system error 2147024786 Framework v2.0, machine config system; error: -2147024786. No idea what this means, but could use some help in correcting the error so I can install. Try this and see if it fixes your problem. (you can always change it back if it doesn't!) Go to the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.... folder. Right click the "machine.config" file select Rename. Change the name to "machine.config.old" Right click on the "machine.config.default" file and select Rename. Change the name to "Machine.config". (all of the above obviously without the quotation marks.) Now try your install. If this does not work, just
