See this http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfr.....83002#N101 Also, try this; Uninstall the HP software again, unplug the printer. Shut down (with the cd in the drawer), reboot, let xp find the printer. Install as recommended and wait for 'connect printer now' Let it print a test page or the install will most likely fail. I was printing on card stock. I got an error message of "Out of Paper" as I didn't have the paper pushed all of the way in. I corrected the problem but have not been able to print since. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer (with the manufacturer's disk) but it won't even print the test page. It says "Document failed to print". When I check the printer box it says "error"I used all the standbys of rebooting and unplugging and plugging.I don't know what else to do. These are wedding bulletins that need to be cut after printed so I am on a time limit. PLEASE.. ANY SUGGESTIONS? It may take a few seconds to clear the queue, so don't panic.I hope that helps.
