I activated the code that came with my product on steam, the game was added to my library and installed correctly. Upon attempting to play the game the error message "failed to failed to contact key server" appears and the game does not run. I have open tickets with both steam and ubisoft regarding this issue and yet it remains unresolved. I would like to thank ubisoft customer support for at least responding to the ticket however they failed to understand my description of what seems to be occurring and I am still waiting for a resolution. The response to my ticket was: "To resolve this problem, you failed to contact just need to retrieve the Uplay key by right-clicking the game in the Steam Library and choosing View Key. This is the key you need to use when prompted to enter the key." In order to clarify what is happening I have mentioned that at no point have I been prompted to enter a key of any sort, Uplay does not start at all, the only thing that happens is that when pressing play in steam an error message appears that says "failed to contact key server", when this message disappears nothing else happens at all. In fact, the same error message appears when selecting "view CD-Key" for Rocksmith 2014 within the steam games library. Please note however that there does not appear to be any connectivity issues between my computer and the steam key server as it is perfectly accessible when attempting to view the CD-key for other games, I have also had no problems activating any other products on steam. This appears to be a very common issue with the physical copy of the game when attempting to activate on steam as you can see in the following threads from the games steam forum: http://steamcommunity.com/app/221680...7378067298474/ (50+ posts) http://steamcommunity.com/app/221680...5525505227514/ (200+ posts) I am very surprised that no one from neither ubisoft nor steam appear to be aw
