RE: Memo fields: Query Engine Error Reebo99 (MIS) 6 Apr 04 10:50 I've had this message before, but it wasn't anything to do with Crystal, the vendor had to update the odbc connection to accommodate changes they has made to the underlying database. Wednesday, August 31, 2005 6:22 PM Answers 0 Sign in to vote The fact that verifying the report causes the fields to be removed, is a bit of a concern. That basically shows that the schema/structure of the data source that was used to design the report, is not the same as the one it's being verified against. At runtime, it's running into a problem when trying to verify the schema/structure and failing. The database engine has changed since v8 and you maybe running into some kind of issue (whether a bug or by design). I would highly advise that you update the report's design (schema) so that when verifying the report does not remove any of the fields. For example, if you're basing the report on ADO.NET DataSets, you should update the report to be based on the data set's schema (.xsd). Do you have any of the CR hot fixes applied? If not, try downloading the latest CR service pack from Business Objects website and see if that helps the error. If not, you may need to call Customer Support for some help. -Mandeep Monday, September 12, 2005 7:23 PM All replies 0 Sign in to vote Hello,It sounds like the Query Enginemay be having problems with
