Generic Error Means

Generic Failure Error Message

The API Gateway implicitly transforms the incoming message into XML before applying the stylesheet to the message. Important For security reasons, it is good practice to return as little information as possible to the client. However, for diagnostic reasons, it is useful to return as much information to the client as possible. Using the Generic Error filter, administrators have the flexibility to configure just how much information to return to clients, depending on their individual requirements. General Configuration Configure the following general settings: Name: Enter an appropriate name for this filter. HTTP Response Code Status Enter the HTTP response code status for this Generic Error filter. Make you feel like there is something that you can do about it. Speak like a human, and be a consistent extension of the personality of the rest of the application. For generic error messages, you can't do much about the first point, but you can do something about the other two. Do something that lets the user know that the problem isn't being ignored.
