How To Check Bios Version In Esxi
M3 BIOS 1 Firmware Error 0: Unspecified Gordon_Copestake Feb 12, 2015 2:12 AM I have an update dell firmware esxi IBM System x3250 M3 that has an orange light on it. ESXi is reporting an error on the sensor "BIOS 1 Firmware Error 0: Unspecified". I can't vmware firmware efi run the IBM ASU utility as any command comes back as Failed. The host is running fine and all VM's are running as expected.How do I find out what the error is, and how do I fix it?Any clues would be appreciated.ThanksGordon 275Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. I haven't powered down the server yet as the VM's are live and my maintenance window isn't until Friday night. Server that was bought last January 2008. The problem is, the server is Shutting down unexpectedly at different time’s everyday. The server doesn’t show any error leds. I switched from another perl script to this and the report provide much more information. There is one thing that don't seem to work properly though.. I currently have a failed disk in my server and the report is showing "unknown" status next to 3 disk / disk day.
