I'm not able to get ComboFix to run. I downloaded it from the link in the guide, and I've completed all of the prior steps in the http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/combofix-keeps-freezing-bsod-issues-windows-gac-virus.185157/ guide (and cleaned out a few trojans in the process), but when I try to run ComboFix, I get the following 2 errors: --------------------------- Error - Win32 only --------------------------- Incompatible OS. Windows GAC/virus Byhitstress Sep 10, 2012 Hi, I ran the Mbam. My log is below. I ran the rkill. My log for rkill is below. I am trying to run combofix next. I am having bsod issues. The ataport. sys is missing. Whenever I try to run combofix, sometimes I will get bsod. Actually about 85% of the time. If it starts running, it will freeze up on me, when combofix gets on the blue screen and is trying to run the startup repair. I am unable to post a combofix log. it seems to me when Malwarebytes quarantined files, they continuously kept coming back. I am trying to get a better understanding for myself, how do you get rid of the files permanently? I would like to thank you in advance for your time and help!!
