My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be happy to assist you.Are you trying to use the TrendNet adapter on the DirecTV DVR? Is it a USB adapter or is it connected to the Ethernet port on the DVR? Ask Your Own Networking Question Customer: replied6 years ago. Hi Erik,...yes I'm using the TrendNet adapter on the DVR and it's connect to the top Ethernet port on the DVR. Expert: Erik B. replied6 years ago. OK let's try the following:Turn everything off (the Linksys, the DVR, the adapter). Unplug the power to all three devices.Power off your computers.Wait 60 seconds.Power on the Linksys and wait for it to sync (usually about 30 seconds).Power on the DVR and the adapter.Test the Internet connection again and see if you get the same error. Either way, power your computer back on and let me know how it went! The config on the DVR looks correct, so hopefully this will do the trick. Let me know if not.
