That's Dax's way of telling you, that you are trying to http://forums.dashhacks.com/psp-help/260172-dadadada-error-code.html do something silly. You don't want 5.03, hen or anything related to it. You can install a full custom firmware. Here's how to get up to date: First, go to recovery mode by holding the power button untill your psp full powers off. Hold the R trigger while turning it on. At the recovery mode, go to configuration and set the homebrew folder kernal to 3.30 (not 1.50) Hellcats recovery reflasher here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/1736 and the needed 500.pbp to go along with it here: http://exophase.com/files/psp/500.PBP With the first file, open it to find a folder called RECOVERY (ignore everything else). copy that folder to X:\PSP\GAME folder. With the second file 500.pbp - copy it directly to your memstick X:\ At the end, you will have X:\500.pbp and X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY folder. After this is done, go to the Game tab/memstick to find and run Hellcat's Reflasher) Hit ok to agree to the warnings (if you do agree) and at hellcat's main menu: Select the option install cfw of the firmware listed above. It will ask if you want to restore settings. Select to reset them. Sit back as 5.00 m33 v6 gets installed. After that's done, you can go to the the most recent custom firmware: 5.50 gen d3 http://www.

There might be an easier way, but I'm new, so this is the route I'm going. So I created an UPDATE http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/23172/t1453991-psp-error-dadadada/ folder and put the EBOOT.PBP in it, then took it off USB mode, tried to load it up, and then in came the error: The game could not be started (DADADADA) I have a feeling how to that it's not really an error code from factory, probably something from the software that was used to upgrade it. Anyhow, if you can tell me how to bypass this to get upgraded, I would appreciate it. evlwankel, Jul 16, 2007 #1 evlwankel Member Joined: Jul 15, 2007 Messages: 4 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 11 Well now that I'm doing some research I'm seeing that since I have error fix dadadada a TA-082 mb I wont be able to upgrade that far. Is that true or did someone fix that little problem as well? Would I be able to upgrade it to at least 3.30?? evlwankel, Jul 16, 2007 #2 mrmcman Guest no thats not ur problem. DADADADA error is in all dark alex custom firmware to prevent upgrading to sony firmware by accident. if u wanna go back to 1.50 just download this and put it in /PSP/GAME/ and run it from recovery mode. mrmcman, Jul 16, 2007 #3 blackvamp Regular member Joined: May 3, 2007 Messages: 1,173 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 46 Your post is kinda confusing. Are you trying to go to 3.40OE? Because you can directly upgrade to it from 3.03oe-c. If you want to upgrade to official firmware for whatever reason, you need to run Chilly Willy's keycleaner. Then you can upgrade to whatever firmware you want. blackvamp, Jul 17, 2007 #4 DoubleDwn Regular member Joined: Sep 27, 2005 Messages: 877 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 26 Well, even with Chilly Willy's keycleaner, key 5 should stay corrupt if you are going to run custom firmware. To go back to official firmware, you can fix key 5, but if you do it w

I downloaded it it to my memory card and when I click on the icon, the error says that "DADADADA, The game could not be started."I don't have any UMDs inside the PSP, the WLAN switch is on, I tried another method of updating by using my PC.Nothing seems to work. My battery is at 100%, charging with the AC adaptor.I know my PSP is old (it doesn't even have the Playstation Store yet) and I recently started using it again.Any ways to troubleshoot this? ------------------- quote quick quote AdvertisementNeoseeker^Sponsored Links Log in or register to remove this advertisement Ville_Valo Welcome to the Blood MachinePermanently Plugged In neopoints: 58since: Dec 2005 Nov 29, 09 at 8:37pm ^ re: PSP error: DADADADA ...It really says DADADADA?You're a bit confused. For one thing, you can't just downgrade to a custom firmware, you need to do certain things.
