I also updated my AVG virus software a couple days back and I know this can sometimes effect the launching of TTR, something I have fixed in the past. Well I contacted TTR and they think it is an issue with AVG, they recommended to disable it to try it out and if that worked then to uninstall avg. I am gonna try Avira as an antivirus and see if that helps, the game is currently down for maintenance right now though.
