I tried the following (only in vain): 1. Upgraded the firmware of my TSSTCorp T-L632D drive from HH15 to HH17. That made it worse - it could not even complete the writes. Rolled it back. 2. Tried different media: Memorex and Verbatim (Singapore made). No luck! Any suggestions? What does the displayed error "Timeout on Logical Unit" mean? Does it suggest a problem with the drive? Or is it the media? I have already had 6 coasters. But with as many cd's as I burn in one setting I don't like to go back and check each one. It will flag files that read perfectly. So if it flags a couple of files.. check them for yourself. In some cases running tests it is the same file even on different file contents on the DVD. That tells me there is a bug in the process. fogfire Buffer Underrun Posts: 17Joined: Tue Jul 08, 2003 3:22 am Top by dolphinius_rex on Wed Jul 23, 2003 7:12 pm Don't use Nero Verify, use Nero CD Speed's Scandisc found in the Nero Toolkit.
