The installer will always fail. It is a bug that has yet to be fixed. If you need to install a System Menu, use DOP-Mii or "NUSD" and a WAD Manager. Also note that when the video mode is not supported by your TV you will not be able to see your screen. So I changed the region to Europe, saved the setting and rebooted the Wii… I was then able to get into Wii Settings!!! So I set up the Wireless connection… Then I went back in to Anyregion Changer, set everything to USA and did the INSTALL SYSTEM MENU 3.2… This was now able to reach the net and it did it’s thing… it errored at the end, but when I rebooted EVERYTHING was AOK!!! THANKS Anyregion Changer!!!! Top Post a reply 1 post • Page 1 of 1 Return to Wii Help & Tutorials Jump to: Select a forum ------------------ Brewology Introductions, Departures, Returns! Okay, my problem is like a circle, it always reaches the same point. My father has forgotten the Wii parental password so I cannot access Wii Shop Channel (which I need to purchase the Homebrew Channel from). To reset my Wii parental password, I need to access Wii settings which does not work because I keep getting an error that goes "You tried to access the address marc:FIX/US/ENG/INDEX01.HTML ..." So, I can't reset the password. To fix the opera problem I need the Homebrew channel, to get the Homebrew Channel I need to go to the Wii Shop Channel which doesn't work because of the unknown parental code. DO YOU SEE THE PROBLEM THAT KEEPS ON REPEATING ITSELF?! Help would be MOST appreciated. P.S: I've already tried guessing the password several times and asking my father to remember. I also do not live in the U.S, so I'm keeping calling Nintendo a last resort. I forgot to mention it's some Opera help/region error when I open Wii settings 01-22-2014, 11:20 AM Post: #2 Stifle Junior Member Posts: 3 Joined: May 2012 Reputation: 0 Unfortunately that's the sort of problem that happens when you try to hack your Wii. 01-22-2014, 11:23 AM Post: #3 LeMii Junior Member Posts: 28 Joined: May 2012 Reputation: 0 You can't get the Homebrew Channel from Wii Shop Channel, you need to download it from the internet. You also can't reset your password from Wii, you need to call to Nintendo to do that. ---- At what point exactly are you getting the Error when trying to go to Wii Settings? When selecting the wrench from Wii Menu or after you have already entered the settings (you see data management) ? ---- Have you hacked your Wii before? Do you have an SD card inserted to your Wii?
