How To Convert Swf To Mov
reply on Mar 5, 2014 3:36 PM by SteveRobinson Exporting flash file as .mov but audio is removed SteveRobinson Mar 5, 2014 10:58 AM Hi all,I am tasked with creating a video that will be hosted on youtube
Export Flash To Mp4
so needs to be a recognizable movie file format. However the movie is essentially just text and images so I figured Flash would be the best forum.I have created my animation, exported it as a .mov using the file > export > export video > option and it plays well but has not captured the audio included. The published swf handles the audio fine. The sound file is a .wav file. In Library I clicked properties how to export flash animation into avi and I can change compression to ADPCM which I read may work but alas no, same results. Can flash export video and sound in the export video option? If not, what other package would be recomended for important this .mov file and adding sound to it? Has anyone else run into this? SWF to Video converters are around but costly (without watermarks) and very buggy so I'd prefer a creative suite solution. I am using a MAC.Any help would be greatly appreciated as this project is at crunch time! Many thanks, Steve. 2352Views Tags: none (add) flashContent tagged with flash, macContent tagged with mac, audioContent tagged with audio, ccContent tagged with cc, flash_ccContent tagged with flash_cc This content has been marked as final. Re: Exporting flash file as .mov but audio is removed SteveRobinson Mar 5, 2014 1:13 PM (in response to SteveRobinson) Figured this one out in case anyone else runs into it.When exporting the export starts at frame#2 so if you move your audio track to frame#2 it will export with the video. If it's on frame#1 it will be ignored.Doesn't make a whole lot of logical sense of course not much in life does so i'll just chalk it up to a nuance of flash!from the help website... http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/using/exporting.htmlExport begins at Frame #2Depending how the Timeline is struct
• Cannot export Quicktime movie by Brian Covalt on Oct 9, 2008 at 7:45:28 pm When I try to export a Quicktime movie from the Export>Export Movie, I get this
The Export Operation Failed Because It Ran Out Of Memory
error message: Error creating Flash movie file. Be sure the destination file flash quicktime is not available please make sure quicktime is properly installed is not locked or on a locked drive. Also, check that the file name is not too long. A few flash export avi things I've tested: • Saving to different drives - all of which are not locked. • changing the file name to one single word followed by .mov • saving the flash file https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1421359 as a new file and trying again • opening the file on a different machine and exporting None of these have fixed the problem. Every time I get the same error. I've been able to export swf movies and also JPEG sequences, but I'd much rather be able to export the Quicktime movie since I need to bring this into FCP and the Flash movie https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/190/862779 has sound in it as well, so with the JPEG sequence I'd have to lay in the audio again. Thanks for any help!Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: Cannot export Quicktime movieby nellsson boijacks on Nov 6, 2008 at 3:39:28 pmBrian I am having the same problem. Have you discovered any answers to your posting? NboiacksReturn to posts indexReport Post•Re: Cannot export Quicktime movieby Brian Covalt on Nov 6, 2008 at 6:01:54 pmNope. My only solution was to export an image sequence from Flash. I then had to create a new sequence in Final Cut with those images and then nest that into my main sequence. Kinda stinks. I think Flash just sucks with quicktime. I remember about a year ago I was on the phone with Adobe's Flash support about problems with quicktime and in the end they concluded that it just doesn't work well and called my problem a "bug". He also mentioned that it wouldn't be a priority of theirs to resolve this issue. But what boggles my mind is how so many animation studios still rely on this program given its problems? I guess they're not exporting quicktimes.

To get audio to export to video, you need to set the audio sync to stream. OK, Im having the biggest headache over this and its such a stupid problem! I would be on the adobe forums but it doesn't even let me create a username for whatever reason, so ANYWAYS. I have flash cs5 but when I export to .mov it creates artifacts and fragments of previous frames. I have tried exporting it with the same dimensions and checking the time elapse box etc. almost everything! nothing works!! So I downloaded the Flash cs6 trial thinking maybe this problem was fixed in cs6 but NOW i have a totally different problem! When I export it gives me "The export operation failed because it ran out of memory" WTF? Im running a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 12 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM and the animation its self is like 40 SECONDS! so im sure it should not require such extensive memory! Ok so I checked the store temp data option to DISC and then it gives me "operation failed because of unknown error" WTF do I do? All I want is to export this to .mov so i can edit the final touches in Final cut and AE and put it on youtube....
