This results in a recheck of the incomplete torrents and they start download showing the current downloaded amount at 0 (zero bytes) and the residual (to download) as the difference between the total download content minus the already downloaded content.Expected behaviour:After a closure of uTorrent any incomplete downloads show as Incomplete with correct amount currently downloaded, correct residual amount to download and for the download to restart on the presence of seeds or peers. Thanks
 himin
on February 6, 2014 in Tutorials - Last Update:February 6, 2014 4One of the great features of torrent archives is that they may contain multiple files. While you may want to download all files usually, you may encounter situations from time to time where you only need to utorrent migration guide download some, or even only one file that is in the archive. This can be

the case if you have downloaded individual files before, and need only some of the files of the new torrent file to deluge complete a set or collection. Or, that different versions of the same file are offered, for instance a video file in different resolutions, so that you may want to pick one of the resolutions to avoid https://forum.utorrent.com/topic/88471-error-on-download-after-utorrent-restart/ downloading the video multiple times. That's where the skipping option comes into play. Once you have added the torrent to the uTorrent client, either directly if you have added a torrent or after downloading metadata if it was a magnet link, you will see all files that are part of the archive when you select the torrent file in the client. Each file is listed with its name, size, done percentage and other information that http://www.ghacks.net/2014/02/06/resume-skipped-downloads-utorrent/ you may find useful. To skip files, simply select them under the Files tab in the uTorrent interface, right-click afterwards on the selection, and select the "don't download" option from the context menu that appears. The priority of those files is changed to skip, and you will notice that the files won't be downloaded anymore. Any download that has already started is automatically stopped when you select that option. If you have made an error here, you may want to unskip files so that the downloading is resumed. What you may notice is that there is no option available to do so, at least not an obvious one such as a resume button. There is stop, pause and start, the previously mentioned don't download option available in the right-click context menu, but that's it.So how do you resume file downloads that you have skipped in uTorrent?Simple: you right-click the files and select a priority for them. Just select normal, high or low to resume the download. Please note that current versions of uTorrent do not refresh the download rate at all for skipped and then resumed downloads. It is simply not displayed. You will however notice that the done percentage and size goes up eventually, so that you can be certain that downloads have been resumed. Are you, for instance, trying to save these files into an external drive? Or are you trying to save them to some place outside your home folder? –Luís de Sousa Nov 14 '13 at 9:51 I'm regularly using Transmission

My computer hasn't hung more than twice since I got it, & I fixed that 6 years ago & it's been on 24/7 ever since, never sleeps, only reboots for OS updates. Ball is in your court, fix the underlying issue or try to mitigate the damage. –Tetsujin Dec 19 '14 at 21:21 well I don't know where are you from , but I live in a country with no access to buy the original and legal versions of apps and games , so everything I use is pirated , and they have a tendency to not work as good as the original registered and intact versions , and I have no choice , and also we have some times power shortages and blackouts so these damage both the pc and files i'm working on, I can't fix something that has to do with my nationality and the country I live in , not that simple and cheap at least. –Hitman2847 Dec 19 '14 at 21:27 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote I have fou
