I know when I right click the notification area icon & left click on Open Avast Interface & left click settings at the top, I have to enter a password there but that has no effect on it. Should I do a total uninstall/reinstall or leave it alone? My scans come up clean, it just has me kinda confused. It listed 1175 files. Never had that at all when I scanned a couple weeks ago. Is it anything to worry about? But my files how to delete are all windows files. But, I did very recently upgrade my flash player. Also, my avast free will not let me select any or all the files to move them to the chest. Nor will it let me highlight files to put in this message. I really don't know what to do. offacres View Public Profile Find all posts by offacres #4 March 22nd, 2013, 04:08 PM Ned Seagoon Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2004 Posts: 2,656 Are you having any problems with your computer? Do you suspect that it is infected? A normal scan does skip a few files, often ones that are associated with that scan, care to list the file name that are skipped, someone may know if you can ignore this of if they represent a threat. I have not been having any trouble with my computer at all. I did update one program and that was my flash player. I have not download anything at all. And, as I stated before, Avast will not let me select any of these files to do anything with them. I can not even highlight the files to show you them. So, now what can I do? offacres View Public Profi
