Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact technical support. The computer couldn't connect to the login server because a security program was blocking the connection, or because the connection was unstable. Closing background applications can resolve conflicts between Blizzard games and programs running in the background. Security programs can interfere with the game's connection to our servers, especially after a patch. Disable or temporarily uninstall your security software. Power cycle network devices to restabilize a connection. The Domain Name Service (DNS) cache saves connection data. A bad DNS cache entry can cause connections to fail. Flush your DNS. Malware and viruses may prevent your connection from authenticating properly. Run security software to remove malware and viruses. Note: A malware program called Scorpion Saver may cause this error. It's difficult to remove and may not be caught by normal antivirus scans. To identify an infection, gather your MSInfo and check Software Environment -> Loaded Modules for "Adpeak." If it appears on the list, contact a certified computer technician in your area for assistance removing the program. Tried everything here? Odoom Americas 22:59, 20/07/14 Source My fiance was having a very weird issue that started yesterday, every time she would try to log in she how to would get the «Battle.net Error #2» and it would not let her access the game. After spending all day talking to Technical Support and messing with a few things I finally was able to fix the problem for her, now I do want to let you know that what worked for her might not work for others, but I just thought I would post this in hopes that how to fix since it is not listed anywhere else that if you would maybe give it a try it might fix the problem for you! When you try to launch the game the Blizzard Agent will appear with the downloaded games. From there click the Blizzard symbol on the top left and go to settings, inside settings go to «Game Settings», and inside World of Warcraft select the «Launch 32–bit client (instead of 64–bit)» and try launching the game that way. Now I know that there is a minor difference in the 64–bit and the 32–bit, but if you are desperate to play the game and none of the other solutions are working I would strongly suggest you try this! Since she only has 8G of RAM, and her PC didn't use more than 4GB of RAM for WoW, the 64–bit client was not needed. I hope this helps some people because I could not find it anywhere and after hours upon hours of trying to fix the problem this was the solution for us!Edited by Odoom on 7/20/2014 2:02 PM PDT Jurannok Americas 23:29, 20/07/14 Source Odoom,If the game will run in 32–bit mode then you may have encountered a Winsock error.
