There are other computers on your local network using your internet connection. The server you are on has its network connectionoverloaded. You are running on a wireless connection with a poor or inconsistent signal. You have a Virus or Trojan or Internet Worm infection that is generating traffic. You are connected to the internet using a dial-up or other low-speed connection. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=6819-QJLN-1999 You have your rate or cl_updaterate or cl_cmdrate settings toofast for your internet connection. You can help to identify and eliminate the source of your problem by: Shut down all unnecessary programs on your computer before playing. Disconnect all other computers in your household to see if they are causing the problem. Scan all computers on your home network for virus/trojan and spyware. Please see this guide for further instructions. If you are running on a wireless network, try connecting using a direct ethernet cable and see if the problem goes away. You will probably have to disable the "Wireless Zero Configuration" service while you are playing as well. Safe rates for dial-up connections are typically around 3500-5000, while broadband connections should be able to safely run 30000 or better. You set this in your game console (~ typically) by entering: rate

This is a network error which usually occurs when packets fail to be delivered properly. (and 'parity' fails) <- by that I mean error correction. Are you playing on wireless? I have this problem now and again - but I know its because I'm gaming on WIFI (which has its inherent flaws/limitations). Wireless isnt really best for gaming is the wider concensus. If you're playing how to fix on wired - check with your router / ensure your cabling is not faulty. (perhaps u could test gaming with ANOTHER router). -All the best. You see, when you play via wireless, the router cuts up your data feed in packets, and ur pc bundles them together to read the data again. If some off these packets are lost or simply didnt come through then you get the error message CL_Flushentitypacket. You most likely erperience the error when someone else is using your network/internet through your home router, without you seeing this of course. You can buy Router these days, that are built for gaming, also called Gaming Routers, which will maintain your dat
