I was doing some work on a SCSI HDD on my w2k pc, went to delete the second partition and an error message came up to say that I'd removed the boot partition of my ide HDD! Said to amend the boot.ini file or I wouldn't be able to re-boot. 'course the pc froze at that point. Powerquest say that this is easily fixed by running chkdsk /f. However the relevant paritions are not recognised in order to run this. There are 3 partitions on the drive Fat32 & 2 NTFS, the FAT32 is accessible but not either of the NTFS. Anybody got any ideas on how to fix this problem without losing the contents?
