Bacatorious Newbie Posts: 2 Error 42145? « on: September 21, 2011, 12:59:26 PM » I did a boot-time scan as Avast suggested after finding and removing a virus on my system. About 5 minutes into the scan, I got:C:\Users\Jeramy\AppData\Local\Temp\GLBD6E5.tmp >wise0003.bin (Installer Archive is Corrupted) Error 42145.However at the end of the scan it shows 0 infected files found. Is this something I should worry about? It's not a virus is it? Be sure to save any unsaved work before running TFC. « Last Edit: September 21, 2011, 01:33:53 PM by Pondus » Logged Chief Wiggum: Uh, no, you got the wrong number. This is 9-1…2. I use Avast anti virus protection for my computer. I ran a boot scan and it scanned my hard drives 100%. Upon scanning I noticed to things popped up. they both started the same but at the end were a little different. They both had an error message at the end error 42127 {CAB archive is corrupted.} and the other error 42145 {installer archive corrupted.} any idea what this means and can it be corrected or should I just leave it alone? I had the Mcafee virus problem in April, finally reformatted my hard drive, and reinstalled XP Pro last Fri. I had backups of some Word documents, and they must be infected in some manner, too. Today I ran avast on startup and got this message: File C:\Documents and how to fix Settings\(my name)\Local Settings\Temp\GLB1A.tmp|>wise0003. bin Error 42145 Installer archive is corrupted.
