My Honda Fit worked fine with 2.x, and from what I've read here BMW, Mercedes, etc. also have problems with 3.x. I got an ipod touch last month, and when I plug it in to my Insight, I get the error message. However, the owner's manual says it should work with Ipod touches with OS 1.1

I have the usb port that it plugs into and has always worked fine. Ipod is a year old and has been working great in the Prius for 8 months. It shows up on the Navigation/screen but wont play the song/switch songs. I switched in my other Ipod and it seems to work fine. The Ipod that does not work in the car works fine on the computer or by itself. I also works fine in my other car. What is the deal? Does it need an update? Is the Prius just being finicky. #1 2010blizzard, Mar 22, 2011 ksstathead Active Member Joined: May 1, 2007 1,244 237 0 Location: Kansas Vehicle: 2010 Prius Model: III We have identical issues. I have a Kia Forte Koup and now, after installing iOS 4 (and 4.0.1 makes no difference), it takes absurdly long to scroll through my music. It didn't stop working altogether, but it's really slow going through library items.I've tried the hard reset solution with no success and I'm not sure thee is a way to reset the head unit. I'll look in the manual. I called Kia already. The woman said they are unaware of the issue, and that there's not much they can do. Thanks Kia!Reply Craig Johnson saysJuly 20, 20
