We encourage you to try installing the OpenDNS Root CA with this article: https://support.opendns.com/entries/98279288 This article is a guide for when a certificate error for *.opendns.com appears, but is not able to be bypassed by adding a certificate exception as outlined in this article: https://support.opendns.com/entries/42398824. In this case, follow the steps below to allow the certificate error to be cleared. When you're unable to bypass the certificate error by adding an exception, this is because of the implementation ofHTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) or pre-loaded Certificate Pinning in modern browsers. I never signed up for this service and now i've missed work because of it. I need a customer representative to help me how to remove it ( or something). Please help 0 Permalink rotblitz July 07, 2013 10:02 No, you don't need a customer prepresentative, but your network admin. http://www.opendns.com/support/article/90 0 Permalink toadaleigh July 16, 2013 14:31 Open DNS is blocking a major news site Guardian UK. This just started yesterday. I have always been able to go to this site. What's up how to unblock with this and how can I fix it? 0 Permalink rotblitz July 16, 2013 14:59 No, OpenDNS doesn't block anything. This is your personal settings. So, fix yourself. Add the domain name(s) of the site to your "never block" list, especially guardian.co.uk, or do not block the News/Media category with your settings. 0 Permalink cervezafria July 18, 2013 18:25 You missed work because of OpenDNS? WOW... that is serious ! To add to rotblitz' suggestion, if you never signed up for OpenDNS and don't want it filtering your 'net access, simply edit it from your network settings and use your ISP's default settings. Though I am puzzled how it got onto your system, because either you, or the person that administers your network system would have had to set it up (it doesn't come with an installer). 0 Permalink adam255 July 22, 2013 12:05 Simply change your DNS servers so it automatically gets it from your ISP. Alternatively, contact whoever manages your network. One final method, reboot your router. 0 Permalink cervezafria July 22, 2
