"Add" button and change "Parallel Port" to "Virtual joysticks". Click the next "Add" button. PPJoy The joystick will install as if Windows were installing an external device. If given a choice, do not use Windows Update to find a driver, then follow the recommended choices for installation. During setup of the first part of the device, your computer will ask you if you're sure you want to install as the drivers are not signed. Simply click "Continue Anyway". If you're worried about it, then don't continue, but I've experienced no problems with the drivers. Allow the second part of the device to install as well. PPJoy will run in Windows 98 and Windows ME with restrictions. Windows NT and Windows 95 are not supported. Once the PPJoy download is installed, the joysticks are configured through the Control Panel. Things You'll Need The original PPJoy CD if you're using Windows 98 or ME. Click Start then select Control Panel. (For Windows XP, click Start, select Settings then select Control Panel from the side menu.) Double click Parallel Port Joysticks. Click Add in the Configure New Controller dialog. Open the Parallel Port drop down list. Then select the port to which the new joystick will be connected. Open the drop-down list to select your controller type. Open the drop-down list to select the appropriate interface. If the port already has the interface type defined, this selection will be grayed out. Open the drop down lists for Controller number and for Controller sub type. Select the appropriate values from the list, then click Add.
