We are connecting via USB on two separate laptops. When connected to https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/520680-hp-printer-memory-is-low-job-canceled-press-ok-to-continue one laptop it seems to work just fine (I intend on trying to push it harder to try and force the error), but the other continually receives the error "Memory is low. Job canceled. Press [OK] to continue."We are getting this error even with http://smallbusiness.chron.com/clear-memory-hp-laserjet-printer-53251.html the simplest word documents. Leading me to believe this might be a issue with the printer's memory? Has anyone else experienced this, and if so what was your fix?I plan on contacting HP support as well, but figured I'd ask here first. Thank you in hp printer advance for any help. What operating system is each laptop using? Is the same software version install on both laptops? Is the printer connected via a splitter cable (i.e. two computers to one device)? I've witnessed that particular error due to out-of-date or incorrect USB memory is low port drivers. 1 Poblano OP Adam1271 Jun 18, 2014 at 5:54 UTC Laptop 1 (no issues) is a Latitude E5540, laptop 2 (with issues) is a Latitude 3540. Both are Running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. The same software version is installed on both laptops. No splitter cable, the laptops are each hooked up to the printer only when printing is needed as they are very mobile onsite. I will check the drivers for the USB port and see if an update is required, this is one thing I should have done but failed to think of it, thank you. I will update with the results after I have had a chance to check the USB driver 0 Poblano OP Adam1271 Jun 18, 2014 at 6:45 UTC USB driver up to date (unfortunately). I was hoping that would take care of the issue. 0 Cayenne OP mmclear Jun 18, 2014 at 7:04 UTC Update the firmware on the printer maybe? 1 Poblano OP Adam1271 Jun 18, 2014 at 7:10 UTC Thank you for the suggestion mmclear. I believe I checked that on install but I will check it again to confirm. I think it should be up to date, however, since the printer has no issues when used with the other laptop. I will let you know the results after confirming the latest printer firmware. 0 Chipotle OP Steven Lee White Jun 18, 2014 at 8:23 UTC One other suggestion - if the opti
