I'll be using the computer and suddenly, my browser windows gives me timout or DNS lookup errors. The odd thing is that it only seems to affect certain programs, at certain times, and not others. I've never lost my Skype connection or dropped a connection while playing an online game, once connected. But if the problem is occurring, then despite the other connections being active, I can't make any new connections for at least 3-5 minutes. As far as I can tell it's not a router or hardware problem. My other devices are fine and this problem affects my laptopwhetherI'm connected via wireless or lan cable.
