A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notfiy you if a solution is available" So when I click on "Close Browser" option, the browser does NOT close. It remains on a blank page, and then the error message comes up again. I just scanned my computer and there are no threats or anything. I have Windows 7, if that has anything to do with it. I would appreciate somebody's help!!! Update: Yeah but here's the thing; It's not when I search something, or type something into the URL. It's when I open internet explorer; automatically when I open it.

//I’m running Windows 7; I thought I had IE9. When I tried to use Internet Explorer, it won’t open. A little pop-up just says that “IE has a problem and is closing.” Then it’s http://www.makeuseof.com/answers/error-message-time-close-internet-explorer/ difficult to close and keeps popping up. It might be connected to an add-on called Conduit.com as I see it in the search window behind the pop-up. I had to clean that off of Chrome and Firefox rejected internet explorer it (thankfully). I went to Windows/IE site to install IE10 over what I have and it refused, saying I already had a more current version. How can I already have something more current than what the site has? Based on what you’re seeing, I suspect that you’re already running Internet Explorer 10. Now, it’s going to be hard to say exactly what’s going to work to solve this problem, but I’ve got a couple of everytime i open ideas. IE versions I honestly believe that the "more current" message that you’re seeing is a misnomer. It’s not quite accurate. That message appears when the download site has nothing newer than what you have to offer. The wording implies that you have something newer than what they have, but I believe what they really mean is that they don’t have anything newer than what you have - which would be the case if you have the most current version. So I think you're running IE 10. Malware? So, let’s start with malware. Run malwarebytes.org’s free tool. That may clear it up. This feels like malware that was incompletely removed, has bugs, or is just causing this problem. Malwarebytes can sometimes clean up these kinds of issues that other anti-malware tools might not necessarily catch. Reinstalling IE Now, if that doesn’t solve the problem, go to the Programs in Control Panel and find the Turn Windows features on or off section. And in there, uncheck Internet Explorer 10. Let it uninstall. That should remove most of1 Internet Explorer and its components. There may be some warnings along the way and that’s okay, because we’re going to turn right around and then reinstall it. This time, when you go to the download site, it should allow you to download that most current version of Internet Expand iPad Internet Security Technology News Lifestyle Entertainment Office Productivity Creative Gaming Browsers Social Media Finance Self Improvement Hardware Technology Explained Buying Guides Smart Home DIY Product Reviews Deals Giveaways Top Lists About About MakeUseOf Advertise Privacy Chats Search for: Facebook Pinterest Twitter YouTube Search Popular Topics The Internet Windows iPhone and iPad Android Mac Gaming MakeUseOf iOS 10 Widgets Are Great: Here's How to Put Them to Good Use iPhone and iPad iOS 10 Widgets Are Great: Here's How to Put Them to Good Use Dann Albright 7 Reasons Why You Should (and Shouldn't) Dual Boot Linux Linux 7 Reasons Why You Should (and Shouldn't) Dual Boot Linux Moe Long Top Deals Search Open Menu Close Menu PC & Mobile Windows Mac OS X Linux Android iPhone and iPad Internet Security Technology News Lifestyle Entertainment Office Productivity Creative Gaming Browsers Social Media Finance Self Improvement Hardware Technology Explained Buying Guides Smart Home DIY Product Reviews Deals Giveaways Top Lists About About MakeUseOf Advertise Privacy Chats Facebook Facebook Facebook Facebook Search for: Why is there an error message every time I close Internet Explorer?
