Click Start (Windows Globe) Click All Programs Click http://techdows.com/2012/11/how-to-downgrade-from-ie10-to-ie9-or-ie8-windows-7.html Accessories Right Click Command Prompt and click Run As Administrator Type sfc /scannow and press enter This process can take up to and hour (or more) to complete and may ask for your Windows 7 media. At internet explorer the end of the sfc /scannow it may reboot your PC. Once your PC reboots you'll have Internet Explorer 9 (or 8/7) installed. Now if you need or want to load Internet Explorer 10 again you can reinstall it by downloading it again. I have no idea if this will work for everyone, but this worked for me after dozens of attempts at various fixes.
