I am a Quickbooks Premier Plus customer with the 2013 version installed on my laptop and have been using it successfully for quite some time. Suddenly I'm unable to access either internet explorer my company files, the main Quickbooks menu, or even Quickbooks "file doctor". When attempting to open a company file I get the error message telling me that Internet Explorer 6 (or later) must be installed to use this version of Quickbooks. However, IE 9 is installed on my laptop. How can I make Quickbooks recognize this without having web browser version to "change my registry" or call in some PC expert? QuickBooks 2006 or earlier: Windows 8/7/Vista: C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QuickBooks (Year) XP: C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks Right-click the qbw.ini file and select Open With. Select Notepad and click OK. Locate the [Misc] section of the qbw.ini file. If the section does not exist, add it to the bottom of the file. Enter IEVersionOverride=600 below the [Misc] section heading on a new line. Select the File menu, select Save, and then close Notepad. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmiVw3ZwQCO-VAOPHbHWNygeGzx3SOaxq Resolve QuickBooks Errorshttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmiVw
