was successfully using F5 Firepass (using IE 10). Today i cant use it... After sorting out Kaspersky - which has started to consoder the logon as needing a secure keyboard entry (never did this before...), I am getting warnings; (a) that Javascript is not enabled - it looks enabled to me... f5 browser plugin chrome (b) I need to install the F5 Browser plugin. I have downloaded the plugin (NPuroamHost.dll), and the instructions are to 'unpack it into the plugins folder of your browser tree.' Where on earth is this? I found another post elsewhere with a similar problem - and the solution was to uninstall Internet Explorer 11. Amazing! I checked the extensions list of one of these machines, and QV doesn't show up.Is there something we might have done wrong? It works for most machines, so it can hardly be a misconfiguration, can internet explorer it?Thanks a lot in advance / Best wishesSebi 57675Views Categories: Web Clients Tags: none (add) ie_pluginContent tagged with ie_plugin, ajaxContent tagged with ajax, pluginContent tagged with plugin, activexContent tagged with activex, ie_8Content tagged with ie_8, internet_explorer_activex_pluginContent tagged with internet_explorer_activex_plugin, ie_plugin_qlikview_9Content tagged with ie_plugin_qlikview_9, citrixContent tagged with citrix This content has been marked as final. The machine in question is a Windows Server 2008 x86 Standard with Internet Explorer 8. It's running Terminal Services and Citrix Xenapp 5. Our Qlikview server is listed as a trusted site and Protected mode is turned off. The plugin is version 8.50.6299.5.I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it via remote desktop, citrix published desktop and local console. I've tried as a domain admin and as the machines local admin. I've tried installing it for all users and for the current user only. I've tried running the installer both in execute and install mode. All with the same result:No errors, the plugin just doesn't show up in Internet Explorer. At this point, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.//Mikael Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions Plugin installed, but does not show up in IE Joachim Rogginer Sep 16, 2009 2:29 PM (in response to mikand) Just an idea: is IE8 already officially supported by QlikView (8.5)?Sebi,can you make out a different behavior depending on browser version?Rgds,Joachim Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions Plugin installed
Remote Front Panel? Primary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>LabVIEW Full Development System Primary Software Version: 8.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: 8.0 Secondary Software: N/A Problem: When trying to view a Remote Front Panel from my web browser, I see a missing plugin error. Where do I get the plugin? Solution: The LabVIEW Run-time Engine is necessary to view Remote Front Panels. Download theLabVIEW Run-Time Enginehereif you do not have it.On a Windows and Mac operating system (OS), the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine installation will usually automatically copy the browser plugin(s) to the correct directory for you, but in some cases, or for Linux users, it is necessary to manually install the plugin(s) to the correct directory.Note: You must use the plugin that corresponds with the version of the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine that you are using. For example, the Remote Front Panel plugin for LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2012 is not compatible with LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2013.See below for OS specific supported browsers and plugin installation information:WindowsMac OS XMac OS 9LinuxWindowsAccessing Remote Front Panels requires the use of NPAPI plugins, which are not supported in any version of Google Chrome Version 42 or higher, or in Microsoft Edge, so it is necessary to use one of the browsers listed below: Internet Explorer 5.5 and greater Netscape 4.7 and greater Mozilla Firefox Opera If you have installed the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine and still see the missing plugin error, there are two possible causes: You are using a supported web browser. You installed LabVIEW Run-time Engine before installing the web browser. For case 2, you can copy the plugin for your version of the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine to the plugin directory for the web browser.Beginning in LabVIEW 8.0, the plugins are installed to \National Instruments\Shared\LabVIEW Run-Time\Current LabVIEW Version\Browser Plugins. If a web browser is installed after LabVIEW Run-Time, plugins will need to be manually copied from this location to the plugin directory for the web browser. Note that if you are using a 32-bit browser on a 64-bit , the path to the plugins folder will be under Program Files (x86). Also note that Windows XP 64-bit isn'ta supported OS for LabVIEW. For Internet Explorer, you must move the plugin.dll to the appropriate plugin directory:C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\PLUGINS Note:The version of the .dll must exactly match the version of LabVIEW in which the VI was written. For instance, to view a LabVIEW 7.1 VI, you must have the fileLV71ActiveXControl.dll.If the appropriate shared libraries are
