Cause: Some websites that provide access to PDF files specifically require the Adobe Acrobat plug-in to display the documents.One example is the "Filings adobe reader plugin internet explorer 11 from the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts PACER Service Center" website, which is accessible through http://pacer.gov/. Solution 1: This issue has been resolved in PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise 7.2: For steps on updatingto PDF Converter Enterprise 7.2, see Technote 6604for more information. Forsteps on updatingto PDF Converter Professional 7.2, see Technote 6692for more information. Solution 2: If it is necessary to use PDF Converter Professional/Enterpise version 7.0or 7.1,we recommend applying an updated file to the existing PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise 7.0 or 7.1 installation. The updated file for PDF Converter Professional/Enterprise 7.0 or 7.1 will allow PDF files that call for the Adobe plug-in to be opened successfully through the web browser. To download and apply the new file, follow the steps below: Close all programs. Open a Windows Explorer window and navigate to theinstallation directory ("C:\Program Files\Nuance\PDF Professional 7\bin" by default). Locate the file named "IEPDFPlus.ocx". Rename the file to "IEPDFPlus.old". Download the updated IEPDFPlus.ocx file hereand save to the Windows Desktop. After the file is downloaded, unzip the "IEPDFPlus.ocx" file to the Windows Desktop.
