Product: WS_FTP Server Version: 6+ Platform: All supported OS Solution Answer/Solution: First, we need to be clear. Internet browsers are not FTP clients. The behavior and FTP capabilities of various web browsers differ and can not be changed by the WS_FTP Server. I have tested with a few current web browsers so I can explain how they behave, and how some of the limits can be overcome. Note - Ipswitch does not support any web browser as an FTP client. There is no logging for FTP connection or transfer failures in a web browser, and error messages generated by these applications are often limited or cryptic.
