Here is the error message: Problem signature: Problem Event Name:APPCRASH Application Name:explorer.exe Application Version:6.1.7600.16450 Application Timestamp:4aebab8d Fault Module Name:OLEAUT32.dll Fault Module Version:6.1.7600.16567 Fault Module Timestamp:4bbc34e9 Exception Code:c0000005 Exception Offset:000000000009100d OS Version:6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID:1033 Additional Information 1:aa1a Additional Information 2:aa1a82c272dd42c407b3efa4b3048197 Additional Information 3:4df2 Additional Information 4:4df216fe194cfb2055f002e6221967c1 This problem started after I ran windows update and rebooted. Whether it was the update or the reboot that caused this, I do not know. I've ran SFC /scannow and performed a clean boot with only windows services running with no luck. The error even occurs in safe mode. I have Microsoft Office and Quickbooks installed on this computer but little else. The hard drives are in a mirrored RAID 1 configuration. I've restored to a month ago before the problems happened, but the error continues. I reverted back to the most recent restore. I would prefer not to perform a clean install because I'm unable to pull off and backup the data files because of the crashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
