would get at least 3-4 days before a crash. When IE crashed, it displayed the same errors. The users system doesn't have any add-ons in IE, and we have cleared the entire history/cache of IE. In addition, all the defaults have been reset to their original position, but the crashing continues. The latest SP has been applied to Vista, but nothing has resolved this crashing behavior. Please help. Meanwhile, this issue also could be caused by software conflicts; you could refer to the following article: Internet Explorer does not start or stops responding Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click “Mark as Answer” on the post that helps you, and to click “Unmark as Answer” if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Internet Explorer 9 Crash Restart Loop Approved Article by Pete Long On 2010-09-23 Views: 22,029 28,329 Points Problem I downloaded the Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 Beta, today, to give it a test drive and maybe write a review for the site, and it failed miserably and got stuck in a crash restart loop. The error message given is as illustrated below is: Internet Explorer has stopped working 00003.jpg In fact, I had to kill IE with Windows Task Manager, as it kept re-spawning new instances that also crashed. Note: You may also see Event ID 1000 in Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application log each time IE9 crashes. Hope you are doing well these days. I never experianced this issue, I tested IE9 out for several hours during the weekend when I first installed the Win7 90 day trial. The only BIG issue that I noticed within IE9, was being in Google and when I am in a search results page, and I would click in the search field and then hit the backspace button, it would actually "backup" to the previous page. If I remember correctly, it was actually jumping to the google main page. Just thought I would throw that at you, maybe worth a test on someone elses end. Steps: Go to google, do a seach. Within the Search Results page, click in the search field and start clicking the [backspace] button. This DID NOT happen all the time, so.
