Did you remove it by these steps mentioned on this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/how-do-i-install-or-uninstall-internet-explorer-9 If the issue persists, you may try to perform an in-place upgrade to fix it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2255099 Hope that helps. I get Error Codes 80073701 and 800F081E (see attached) Clicking on "get help with this error" is useless, as you'd expect from Microsoft. According to Microsoft these are "important updates". All other updates install correctly. I dont really care too much for IE9, but I figure Windows 7 SP1 (for 64 bit machine) might have some impor
