07:30 AM|Nagavell|LINK Hi, I have published a website it was working fine, few days back it stopped working suddently http://localhost it displays page not found all the time same with Google Chrome too when i troubleshoot it i got "Remote Device/Resource cannot accept the coonection" .Even i used 127.0.0.1 the same is coming up. I tried telnet localhost 80, it was not working internet explorer cannot display the webpage windows vista , even uninstall n install iis , even system restore was not working. I searched it all in the web, unable find a solution. Help me. If so, please try to refer to the following solution: Check the Windows Update log for failed Updates or Patches. Try to un-install updates or patches and see if you get Server running. Check that all services for IIS Server are running in particular World Wide Web Publishing. Checked if there has been changes for Router(s) they can cause failures for server DNS and Access. Please try to create a simple web site, and test if it can work, if it can work, please to check if install the ASP.NET module of IIS. Finally, I suggest you to get the latest Service Pack. Some of your current issues and future problems may be covered by the Serivce Pack. Hope it can h

I downloaded the .msi installer and used that to install the new version. All the controls errored.....so after reading alot of forums and different installer/deployment documentation I got them working. Then when I copied them to the server and i tested the website I simply get the generic "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage" error in both IE7 and 8. I tried both from my computer and remoted into the webserver and it doesn't work there either. However i remoted into our terminal server and it works there....and it also works when I debug it from VS2008.
