My computer (Windows XP) was on at the time and the next morning I rebooted and everything seemed ok until I opened up Internet Explorer 8. I had a green light (everything normal) on my router and my wireless network showed everything was connected and ready to go. IE would not open however, no many how many times I tried. If you https://helpdesk.stone-ware.com/portal/helpcenter/articles/ie-crashes-with-szmodname-hungapp look at the error details andsee AppName: iexplorer.exe ModName: unknown modver: 0.0.0.0 then that typicallyindicates that a third party plug in is failing. webNetwork is not causing thebrowser to crash, a module for the ActiveX browser based RDP client is crashingand thus causing the browser to crash. To test this, connect to a terminal server application that does not have anyaddition parameters configured or temporarily remove the parameters for theterminal server webapp. If you are seeing szModName:hungapp then very possibly there is a problem withyour anti virus software and the third party plugins for the RDP client. Disableyour Anti virus software and test, then disable the plugins for the terminalserver plugin and test. One customer found that on his HP Tablet with XP SP3 and IE7 that his version ofAVG and the Tricert screwdriver plugins did not work and would cause the hungapperror.

Go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer and look in the Application and System logs for any errors, hopefully ther will be something there that will shed a bit more light. Nick.
