Internet Explorer 7 keeps freezing, iexplore.exe.mdmp error [RESOLVED] Started by Fulci , Oct 21 2007 02:31 PM This topic is locked #1 Fulci Posted 21 October 2007 - 02:31 PM Fulci New Member Member 2 posts Hi, I'm having a problem whenever I try to download any kind of file when http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/174315-internet-explorer-7-keeps-freezing-iexploreexemdmp-error-resolved/ using Internet Explorer 7. Most of the time when I try to download something, the screen freezes and I get the program not responding message and this error message, C:\DOCUME~1\Keith\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER65b9.dir00\iexplore.exe.mdmp, and there is mention of hungapp in the error signature. I only get this problem with Explorer, not with Firefox.I did a Google search on ixplore.exe.mdmp and tried just about all of the suggestions people had, including doing the System file checker, cleaned the cache, running various anti-spyware and anti-virus programs, but nothing has helped so far. Someone mentioned that if you uncheck the "enable third party browser extensions" option and you don't get that error, then you probably have spyware. Well, when I unchecked that option, I was able to download without any problems or errors. So do I have a spyware problem even though none of my anti-spyware programs have found anything? I have followed all of your recommendations except for the Panda Scan which wouldn't work, I kept getting a page error message after installing the Active X and tried to start the scan. Please help! Thank you.Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2Scan saved at 4:25:58 PM, on 10/21/2007Platf
