I did both suggested workarounds: On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. On the Security tab, select the zone the site loads under. Scroll down to the Scripting section, and set the Active Scripting to Disabled - prevents scripts or to Prompt - prompts user to run or not to run scripts. Click OK. http://superuser.com/questions/493411/ie-7-error-cannot-open-the-internet-site-operation-aborted and On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. This problem no longer occurs in Internet Explorer 8 Source: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927917 share|improve this answer answered Oct 26 '12 at 16:37 Ivan Kay 714 User doesn't really want to because she is fearful that Microsoft would track her internet usage... This pops up when opening the file browser window in my Firefox browser. I'm using DSM3.2. It doesn't appear to affect me using the unit, however it is annoying.FWIW I also have recently been trying to use rSync for backing up my PCs, but have not succeeded yet.On the left hand side of the file browser window, there is a 'My Computer' icon, which does not appear to work. Could this connection be the cause of the issue? What method can I use to locate the source of this problem? PS I'm not familiar with Linux, but happy to learn Thanks for reading Top popinfresh I'm New!
